This is a magnificent monumental antique French school still life oil on canvas painting of a bouquet of flowers on a marble ledge, circa 1870 in date.
The large collection of brightly coloured summer flowers are arranged in a classical urn with a doric column and a cloudy blue sky in the back ground.
It is housed within a stunning and highly elaborate Italian carved and pierced gilded scrolling foliate frame.
