About this item
A reclaimed oak beam, ideal for a wood burner mantel or other home project. The beam has a nice rustic appearance with very interesting characteristics and signs of age. The beam has uneven sides that are not totally flat, giving nice aged character and a stylish rustic look. The oak has been cleaned and it has a rich colour. The beam has some signs of wear, use and age, as expected of reclaimed items. There are some splits and surface cracks. There are some holes, wood knots and gouges and the beam surface is not flat in places, with one side curving inwards and various notches and weathering overall. The oak has some colour variation. There are some small holes left from the evidence of old woodworm. Please see pictures for condition details. The beam is of a nice size and has a great look, ideal for a rustic home project.
