About this item
A petite reclaimed Arts & Crafts iron fire basket. The fire basket has a nice traditional period appearance with thick iron legs and two iron bars on each side. The front edge has decorative studs. The basket has been sprayed matt black with a heatproof spray paint and the front has been blacked and polished. The basket is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of wear and age, adding character. The fire basket has some warped metal from heat, especially to the back bars. The grill bars have some wear and thinning. There are some knocks and pitting to the iron. Please see pictures for condition details. The fire basket is a nice reclaimed Arts & Crafts item and it would suit many interiors and make a nice addition to a fireplace.
