About this item
A reclaimed stripped pine four panel door, likely to date to C.1900. The door is solid and well made with mortise and tenon joints and is suitable for internal use. The door has a traditional appearance with four recessed panels, two larger over two smaller, with decorative mouldings around them on one side. The pine has a waxed finish.
The door is in reclaimed condition with some signs of age and wear as expected. There are some knocks and chips, especially to the corners and edges. The pine has some surface splits and wood knots. The panels have some splits. The base of the door has some damage. There are some holes and marks from where door hardware has been removed and some larger holes have had patch repairs. The pine has some staining and marks. The door height may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is of a good size and has a nice period design, ideal for adding character to a home.
