DI1113 RECLAIMED 4 PANEL VICTORIAN STRIPPED PINE INTERNAL DOOR

An elegant reclaimed Victorian stripped pine four panel internal door. The door has a traditional period appearance with four recessed panels, two large over two smaller, with decorative beading around them. The door has been well made with mortise and tenon joints. The door has had a varnished finish applied but there are some areas of paint residue and some scratches and you may wish to sand and re-finish the door to suit. As the door is varnished, not waxed, it should be fairly easy to sand.

The door is in solid condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected. The door has some knocks, chips, slight indentations and surface splits. There are some wood knots and some notches left by wood knots. The door has some holes, marks and light damage from hardware removal. There is some damage to the edge of the door near the lock, where it has been knocked. The pine has some slight discolouration in places. The hinges have surface rust. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a great traditional Victorian look and would be ideal for adding character to a home.
