A superbly clever, très French and highly decorative abstracted painting by Bernard "Becool" Coolen which tells a story: it is in fact a stylised representation of of the Champs Elysees between the Arc de Triomphe and the Place de la Concorde on Bastille Day! This is where the annual parade takes place, represented by the red fighter plane in the top left corner.
The artwork is signed, dated and situated on the verso of the canvas.
