Full Description

A striking and boldly composed abstract painting by British artist Roger Blundell (1937–2019), dated 1969 and painted in acrylic on board. The work features an energetic interplay of colour and form, with a stylised tree and bird emerging from a dynamic abstract field. Blundell’s confident brushwork and vivid palette give the piece strong visual impact and a joyful mid‑century modern character.

The painting’s large scale (125 cm wide) makes it an impressive focal point for contemporary interiors, studios, or gallery walls. The surface is in very good condition, with the board retaining its crisp edges and the colours remaining bright and expressive.

A powerful example of late‑1960s British abstraction from a recognised artist, combining decorative appeal with artistic interest.
