About this item
A reclaimed stripped pine four panel internal door, likely to date to the early 20th Century. The door has a four recessed panels, two larger over two smaller and there is Gothic chamfer detailing around each. The pine has been stripped and has a nice wood grain. The door is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of age and wear, as expected of antique items. One of the top panels has a bow. We have placed some wood with a straight edge against the panel to show the gap left by the bow, please see the last picture for details. The door has some knocks, small holes, splinters and surface splits. There are some wood knots. The door has had a quality patch repair. There are some holes and indentations where door hardware has been removed. The pine has some stains and marks and you will need to re-sand the door. The door height and width may need slight levelling. The base of the door has some knocks. The hinges will need replacing as they have surface rust and one is broken. Please see pictures for condition details. The door is ideal for a period home and has a nice traditional look.
