    About this item

A pair of reclaimed, internal / external Victorian oak glazed doors. The doors are very well made, solid and heavy and were originally used in a school. The doors have a nice design with two recessed panels at the base, with decorative mouldings. The top of the each door has 9 glazed panels. The doors are currently glazed with plain glass with safety wire. We can re-glaze the doors for an extra charge, if desired, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The doors have been varnished but the varnish has scratches and marks and you may wish to sand and refinish the doors to suit. The doors have been used internally but could be converted to be used as external doors.

The doors are in solid condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The doors have some holes and marks from hardware removal. There are knocks, small holes, scratches and chips, especially to the edges and corners. The lock edges have some damage with one door having a deep scoop missing. We can patch repair this for an extra charge, please contact us for details. One door has some damage where hardware has been removed and it has caused a surface split. There are shadows and missing varnish where kickplates and fingerplates have been removed. The varnish has knocks and marks. There are some holes left from kickplate screws. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a very handsome appearance and are very well made, making a fantastic addition to a home.
