    This is a medieval silver farthing of King Edward Ist of England, struck at the London Mint between 1280 - 1281 AD.

    Obverse:  +Є R ANGLIЄ (Edward King of England) Legend around crowned facing portrait within inner beaded circle.

    Reverse:  CIVI TAS LON DON (City of London) Long cross pattée, trefoil of pellets in angles, mint name around.
