    Obverse inscription: ELIZABETH. D; G; ANG; FR; ET HI; REGINA,  ( "Elizabeth, by the Grace of God, Queen of England, France and Ireland") Crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth I facing left with rose behind, all within inner circle with legend around.

    Reverse inscription: POSVI DEV: AD IVTORE M: MEV; ("I have made God my helper") Square topped shield quartered by long cross fourchee dividing legend, date above. 1564.
