About this item
Lovely pair of Australian Aboriginal 'Nulla Waddy' throwing clubs,c1880. Beautifully hand carved with incised and stained dot and band decoration they have a real primitive tribal charm. The weight and balance is good , they have tapered handles and pointed ends and traditionally these clubs are used for hunting and in combat. The wood has taken on a lovely colour/patina following years of handling. Overall condition is good in line with age and use with only very minor signs of wear/use. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to view the item.
