About this item
Lovely collection of 4 large 19th century African cast iron currency pieces, c1890. Probably from the Congo they are cast in the traditional lost wax method. With intricate shapes and decoration and have a great tribal look. Following many years of use they have taken on an amazing rusty colour/patina . Overall condition is good in line with age and use.
