About this item
Very large (77cm tall) mid 20th century African Benin tribal bronze statue of a standing warrior, c 1950. This is a very impressive piece one of the largest I have seen. It is nicely cast in the traditional lost wax method and well decorated. It has the usual casting holes associated with traditionally cast pieces. It is in good original condition and has aged well with nice colour/patina.
