About this item
Very large mid 19th century Chinese bronze bowl / jardinire, c1840. It is well cast, heavy (2.5kg) and beautifully decorated with Birds in flight shown in relief near foliage. It has great colour/patina and has character marks on the main body. it has been well handled over the years and there are areas of rubbing and a few very small holes scattered around the body and base.
