A beautifully made 19thc ash and beech "Childs" stick back Windsor armchair...made in the traditional way by the "bodger" (chair maker), unusual as the seat is also made of ash , instead of the more usual elm ... the front legs are finely turned and the back legs are unturned.....in excellent original condition with a fine natural colour and patina. English - Lincs. C1840-60
