    A wonderful pair of Louis XVI style gilded armchairs. Beautifully crisply carved with flowers, wreaths, "S" & "C" scrolls. All fully water gilded with traces of the coloured bole showing through.

    Shaped and carved legs, all sound. Recently upholstered in a coral and pale gold damask. With feather swab cushions.

    Height 46" or 117cm

    Depth front to the back of seat 21" or 53.5cm

    Overall depth 27" or 68.5 cm

    Width arm to arm 24" or 61cm


    Condition : Very good condition, structurally all sound, rubbing to gilding commensurate with age.
