    About this item

A wonderful genuine piece of Irish vernacular furniture from the shores of Lough Neagh, Co,Tyrone. This quintessentially Irish chair is primitive in design but that is its charm. Sometimes called a stick chair or hedge chair they would add great character to any country home decorated in the rustic taste.

Condition commensurate with age and use. A large woodworm infestation at some point in its history which has been treated and made good. Some minor losses to one arm. The chair is completely stable, structurally sound, weight bearing and fit for use.
