    Howard style open armchair
    With turned front legs and arm supports, swept rear legs and brass casters, the back of the chair with a distinctive roll top. The generous low, deep design as pioneered by Howard & Son, this chair is of the same period.
    British, circa 1890

    The seat 42cm H.

    Condition:  The frame in good sound condition, the original brass castors are a little worn but in good serviceable condition.  Now stripped back to the original horsehair and springs - ready to be re-upholstered.
