    About this item

A fully restored late 18th century vernacular armchair with a top rail of finials and swan neck decoration and closed sided seat construction. Very possibly a Crofters chair originating from Scotland or the Northern Isles. Pulled up close to an open fire this surprisingly comfortable chair constructed from Ash, Oak and Pine would be an ideal piece for the rustic retreat or home.

Condition commensurate with age and use. Recently fully restored.
