    Very attractive mid 19th.c. spindle back armchair in ash c.1840. High back with a shaped top rail over three rows of turned spindles between turned nipple top rear stiles. Shaped arms with turned detail where they meet the rear stiles and particularly attractive baluster form supports at the front. Over a recently replaced woven rush seat (height 18"). Turned stretchers to all four sides and raised pad feet to the front. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
