    A pair of 19th century walnut cabriole leg armchairs in the Queen Anne style,great shape and outline with shell carving to the top rail and front legs.The chairs have shepherd's crook shaped arms on to a leather covered drop in bow fronted seat .The legs are united by turned stretchers and have pad feet.A wonderful looking pair of chairs made no later than 1870 ,they have excellent seat rails with a lot of age  as are the frames of the drop in seats(see photos).Fine colour and patina and in lovely condition throughout.
