    A pair of 19th century carved mahogany library chairs in the Chinese Chippendale style. Shaped top above an upholstered back , outset arms with lattice decoration down to a serpentine shaped seat , square legs with fine blind fret carving back and front, pierced fret corner brackets ,all united by stretchers. Great timber and an unusual model, very comfortable and the seat depth is 20 ins and height 19 ins. The upholstery has been good (probably Arthur Lee of Birkenhead) but the centre fronts are worn, they have also been upholstered prior to this. English Circa 1880.
