A super quality 19th century Mahogany Gainsborough chair in the George II style. Having a camel shaped back and wide seat and beautifully carved sweeping arms. The whole raised on cabriole legs with shell carved knees and pad feet. Wonderful original condition and finish throughout. Firm standing, tight frame and retaining the original horse hair. Now ready for a new topcoat. English, Circa 1880.
