    Always difficult to source a large pair of English wingback armchairs in the early 18 th Century taste. Wonderful large proportions and excellent shape, sitting on carved walnut cabriole ball and claw legs. Nicely carved and excellent colour. Probably dating to the early 20th Century. Certainly in need of re upholstering, these would look wonderful covered in an appropriate fabric, as library chairs or in a large sitting room.
