William IV Occasional Chair

This is the perfect occasional chair. Providing useful extra seating in a living room, library or bedroom and can be moved around easily because its not huge in size. It has lots of character with a sprung seat and deep buttoned back and arms. The seat is a good height and depth, and the mahogany legs tall and elegant. It has its original casters and there is a small chip on one (see photo) but the caster moves freely and does not appear to scratch the floor. I've covered the chair in a handloomed vintage textile from East China. This is a striped textile in 2 tones of blue and green with pinstripes in off white and red. The textile has some nice slubs typical of its hand loomed character.
