A hugely decorative polished Coco De Mer Palm Nut from the paradise archipelago of the Seychelles. A beautiful piece of natural history long admired for its sculptural beauty. This nut has been crafted and carved into a trug/basket, so two decorative objects in one, a stand alone sculptural element or Folk art Basket.

Condition commensurate with age and use. Wax polished, small hairline crack.
