About this item
An unusual French enamelware or graniteware 'Légumes' bucket, made in about the 1930s to collect vegetables from the garden. It has the word 'Légumes' printed against a brown enamel stripe design, which has an Art Deco look. It has been well used and has some chipping and flaking to the enamel, as is common with these domestic enamelware pieces. In my opinion, the wear just adds to its character.
