About this item
A very nice Worcester porcelain circular basket with scalloped shaped edge and pierced walls, the intersections of which have small applied daisy flowers on the outer walls. The outside is painted in a rare yellow enamel ground and the inside is boldly painted with large European style flowers in bright enamels in pink, orange, yellow, green and purple. c.1768.

It measures 19cm (7 1/2") wide and 7cm (2 3/4") high.
In very good condition with just a single small chip to one of the flower petals just below the edge of the rim. There is a fine hairline running a short way around the edge of the base and a glaze line across one of the pierced wall sections. No restoration and minimal surface wear.
