Large First Period Worcester Porcelain Pine Cone Pattern Basket c.1775
Very nice large Worcester round porcelain basket with pierced walls and scalloped rim and printed in the centre with the ever popular pine cone pattern. The rim and first section of the reticulation is prettily decorated with a diaper style and trailing vines. The outside of the basket is decorated with applied moulded flowers to each of the joints, each picked out in blue. Hatched crescent mark to the base.
It measures 24cm (9 3/8") wide and 6.5cm (2 1/2) high.
Condition is excellent with no damage, repairs or restoration. There is a single glaze line at the rim and minimal surface wear wear.
