Antique cushioned Venetian mirror with acanthus cartouche

Late 19th century, antique, cushioned, Venetian mirror with a beautifully etched frame, finely decorated with central floral and foliate panels set within narrow, glass borders which have a central row of circles, or bubbles, and dainty scallop cut edges. The frame is held at the corners with fanned acanthus leaves secured with little glass flower-topped screws and the mirror is topped with a wide, decorative, acanthus leaf cartouche. There is a little age in the narrow frame borders along the bottom edge of the mirror but the bevelled, central glass is in very good condition and gives an excellent reflection.
