    A late Regency bobbin chair by renowned makers Miles & Edwards.  This beautiful bobbin chair retaining the original finish and the high quality gilt lacquered brass castors. Having the original swab horse hair cushion which is newly upholstered with piping and button detail.  

    Miles & Edwards produced high end furniture and upholstery from their premises on Oxford Street, London 1822 - 1844.  Their client list was quite something and included Empress of Russia and Lord Palmerston.  The firm was bought out in 1844 by Charles Hindley & Sons.
