A lovely pair of late C19th Venetian Hand Painted Bedside Cabinets. Of serpentine form with pretty floral paintings on a duck egg blue background with gilded edging. The tops, sides and fronts all with hand painted floral bouquets all set inside a stylised gilt scrolling frame. Standing on squat cabriole legs. The cabinets provide a single drawer and large cupboard below. Due to their size they would also work well as alcove cabinets or lamp or end tables. Condition wise they have lots of wear you would expect commensurate with age and use. In our opinion this only adds to their charm. There is one handle missing to one of the cabinets but it's not the side you would use to open the cupboard. Of beautiful form and colour they will most certainly grace any interior!
