About this item
Pretty little pair of French Louis XV style painted bedside or lamp tables c.1950. Kidney shaped tables with a raised edge to the top at the sides and rear, over two small drawers with brass knobs. Attractive hand painted decoration of different landscapes within scrolling foliate borders to the tops and across the drawer fronts, and different bunches of flowers to the sides. All against a cream ground with crackle effect and gilded highlights to the edges. Raised on slim shaped legs with brass mounts to the front feet. Very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Note we also have a matching marble top commode.
