    A late 17th century oak box seat armchair. All the panels which are carved with roundels are original as are the arms and all the base of the chair.The back of the chair has been repaired,probably a hundred years ago,such that the uprights and framework holding the panels have been replaced (see photo of splices above the arms),the seat has also been done at the same time.However it is a great looking chair and is priced according to it's state of repair.Probably Welsh Circa 1680.Seat height is 16 ins.
