Late 19th Century Beechwood Breadboard

A late nineteenth century, carved beechwood breadboard. This is very simply carved with small flowers and stylised leaves. The carving is now quite worn, as the board has seen much use. The wood has a rich patina and the board dates from c.1890. It is in good condition, with no splits or chips.
