    About this item

A Victorian breadboard carved with the word ’Bread’ and two small flowers. This is carved in beechwood. The wood has an interesting grain and a deep, honey coloured patina. There is wear to the carving, from use, and also the centre of the board is quite dished, from constant use. It dates from c.1880 and it is in very good condition, with just the usual scratches to both sides of the board.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Western Europe add £10.
