About this item
An oval, sycamore breadboard dating from c.1900. This was originally carved with the word “BREAD” and long stylised leaves to the border but the carving is now so worn that it is barely discernible. It was obviously loved and very well used. There is also excessive scratching to the face of the board. The wood has a lovely, plate patina.
Dimensions: Length 31cm. Width 25cm. Depth 2.1cm.
