An exhibition quality pair of Edwardian Period open bookcases by Gregory & Co of London. Each bookcase constructed using the finest figured mahogany and having sea-scroll brass galleries above a beautifully figured solid mahogany top, with a satinwood moulded edge and banding. Having reeded columns, figured mahogany ends, again banded in satinwood with two mahogany lined frieze drawers, with Sheraton influenced inlaid fronts with fine quality cast brass drawer pulls. The drawers stamped "Gregory & Co London" and having two adjustable mahogany shelves, the whole raised on four elegant turned and reeded mahogany feet. English circa 1900-1910, the very best quality and in stunning condition
