Art Deco Light Oak Gondola Shop Display stand circa 1930s
Top & tiers with round corners, lift out plate glass sides,
Top Fixed with Chrome Circular threaded pinch nuts,
undo to lift off,
Two Centre tiers split in two and adjustable heights ,
with the shelves sitting on chrome shelf supports ,
Adjusted by chrome threaded pinch nuts in the middle
of the 3 vertical supports,
Platform base, with inset black, plinth,
Recently Polished
These Gondola Display Stands First Appeared in the 1920s , with Nickel plated Railings, & Fittings, Chrome Fittings first appeared 1930 onwards,
The Glass sides replacing the nickel railings these appeared mid to late 1930s through to the 1950s, after the war using the same design,
This Display stand has been dated 1940s,
