Edwardian mahogany bureau bookcase

Edwardian mahogany bureau bookcase, having a domed top with two glass doors, revealing three adjustable shelves - over a fall front, fitted bureau and three long drawers, all resting on raised frontal supports.

This piece of furniture was presented to a Miss E Manson in 1922 as a retirement gift as a head mistress - and has a small plaque attached to one of the small interior drawers of the fitted bureau…. We just live a bit of provenance!

This is a quality piece of Edwardian furniture and has been well loved and treasured! It is in overall very good condition! It is sturdy and solid and splits into two sections for ease of movement and transport! The glazed upper bookcase comes complete with a key to lock the cabinet! 

These pieces are great for those of you who work from home - keeps all work stuff together!

Delivery is usually with 1-2 weeks depending on location and day of purchase, as we have select  days for courier collections, tracking will be provided and a also a delivery date once we confirm the booking with the courier. 

Please do mention beforehand if it is upstairs or if there is a lift etc please expect to provide some assistance as some of our items can be very heavy or awkward to manoeuvre.

The courier service is usually a 2 man team, and is booked as ground floor delivery unless stated otherwise (lift/assistance provided etc),
