With the finest fiddle back mahogany throughout framed by satinwood edging and crossbanding, the pierced brass ormolu galleried top with moulded edge and ladder inlays above the glazed and shelved miniature display cabinet. The cylinder barrel decorated in the finest penwork and exotic timber inlays revolving with the pull out drawer to reveal fitted stationary sections including three drawers, penholders and inkwell pockets. The fold-over writing surface with gold leaf and tooled leather top resting on the Edwards & Roberts stamped lockable storage drawer, all standing on square tapering legs and spade feet joined by a lower shelf.
