About this item
Excellent quality tall French Empire style mahogany bookshelves c.1920. Solid mahogany top with a moulded edge over an open bookcase with four adjustable shelves (internal depth 8") affording almost 19 feet of space for books etc. Crisply cast Classical style brass mounts to the apron above the shelves and to the top and bottom of the pilasters flanking the front. Raised on a slim moulded plinth with turned pad feet. Solid mahogany sides and shelves. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
