About this item
A good quality French Louis XV style kingwood and marquetry inlaid vitrine. Of serpentine form and having a shaped and polished top with central gilded brass crest. The serpentine glazed door having a wonderful marquetry panel of a basket of flowers and opens to reveal mirror plate backing and 2 plate glass shelves. The sides with conforming serpentine glass and marquetry inlay and the whole embellished with good gilded mounts and raised on out swept legs with sabots. Condition- Very good and original with a little fading to the crushed velvet lining. Dimensions:- Height…73.5''/ 187cm. Width…33''/ 84cm. Depth…15''/ 38cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £65.
