A superb 19thc Welsh Cawl bowl....Cawl is traditionally a hearty dish made of meat and any vegetables available. It is served in some areas in a wooden bowl and eaten with a wooden spoon with chunks of homemade bread and Welsh cheese. ...this one has gained a lovely colour from many years of use probably in the same household....it is of a good size and in very good condition.
