About this item
18C Cantonese m-o-p games box with four interior m-o-p boxes and contemporary counters with card suits. The design to the lid is the pseudo-armorial of the billing-birds and that is repeated to the lids of the interior boxes. Beautiful craftsmanship to the lid and the boxes with much of the work in low relief. Very few of these boxes survive as they are so fragile.
