A George III silver and agate snuff box, Mathew Linwood. London 1813
A fine George III silver and agate pocket snuff box. Made in London by Mathew Linwood in 1813. The box is in very good condition as is the Agate insert. The 7 part hinge closes tightly and the lid is a very good fit. The interior is original gilding and there are a full set of hallmarks on the base. This a fine box with good patina.
