Victorian metal deed box. Made from steel, with the original paint finish which displays a desirable aged patina. C1880
The box is adorned with drop handles and is fully functional. These box’s were made to hold documents for a firms such as solicitors or legal businesses, being made from steel made them flame proof.
This box remains in original condition, would make a great storage box or low side table.
