A superb early 19thC Mauchline Ware snuff box, beautifully decorated with a hand coloured print showing a gentleman and his wife watching a small dog looking for a rat....it is titled underneath - "Smelling a Rat". The little box is in very good condition with its original hinge with no breaks and still retaining the silver lining inside the box..!
