    About this item

A super quality made 19thc Brass Snuff Box....to me it has everything going for it......it is engraved with Barley & Hops and also a pair of crossed Churchwardens Pipes flanked by a Pitcher of ale and an early wine glass, it has the name of the owner Rt Hogg , dated 1844....as if that is not enough it is stamped on the inside of the box with the makers name W.Howe, who had a workshop in Wolverhampton.  In excellent condition with no damage....also note the quality of the hinge...so well made.

    English.  19thc.
